About Us

Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1998 by sisters Dr. Catherine Roth and Dr. Suzanne Roth, proud fourth-generation Montanans raised in Laurel, MT. After earning their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at Oregon State University, Dr. Catherine gained experience in Spokane, WA, while Dr. Suzanne practiced in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

Drawn back home by their love of Montana and its close-knit communities, they returned with their family to open Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital. Combined, they share more than 50 years of veterinary experience and a deep understanding of the unique needs of pets living in Montana’s wide-open spaces.


At Granite Peak, their mission has always been to blend advanced veterinary care with the warmth, trust, and neighborly spirit that small towns are built on. 

Dr. Suzanne Roth

Dr. Suzanne Roth

Dr. Suzanne Roth earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University in 1996. She began her career as an associate veterinarian in Coeur d’Alene, ID, before returning to Montana to open Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital with her sister, Dr. Catherine Roth, and their family in 1998.

With over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Suzanne is dedicated to providing compassionate care and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. At home, she enjoys life with her family and a lively mix of animals—including dogs, cats, goats, and chickens.

Dr. Catherine Roth 

Dr. Catherine Roth earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University in 1996. She began her career as an associate veterinarian in Spokane, WA, before returning home to Montana. In 1998, she and her sister, Dr. Suzanne Roth, opened Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital alongside their family.

With close to 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Catherine is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient she sees. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys life with her family, as well as a lively menagerie of cats, dogs, goats, and chickens.  
Misty

Misty - Veterinary  Technician

Misty has been a valued member of Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital since 2001, bringing her expertise and dedication to every patient. A lifelong animal lover, she has a household full of pets of her own, giving her first-hand experience in the joys and challenges of pet care.

Her knowledge, compassion, and commitment make her an essential part of the team, ensuring every dog and cat receives gentle, attentive care

Amanda – Veterinary Technician

Amanda is a gentle, genuine presence at Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital. A trained veterinary technician, she has been part of the team since 2006, bringing skill and kindness to every patient she cares for.

At home, Amanda shares her life with her Lab, Kirby, her German Shepherd, Barrett, and her cats. Her calm and compassionate nature makes her a favorite among pets and their owners alike, ensuring every dog and cat feels safe and well cared for.

Lauryn - Veterinary Technician 

Lauryn is a knowledgeable and energetic member of the Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital team. A lifelong animal lover, she brings both skill and passion to her work with every dog and cat she cares for.

At home, Lauryn enjoys life with her young son and their beloved Lab, JD. Her dedication, expertise, and warmth make her a trusted and valued part of the team.

Madison - Veterinary Technician in Training

Madison is a dedicated and caring member of the Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital team. Though new to the clinic, she brings a lifelong passion for animals and a strong work ethic developed through years of military service.



At home, Madison enjoys life on her farm, caring for her pigs, chickens, dogs, and cats. Her genuine love for animals and commitment to learning make her a valued part of the team, ensuring every dog and cat receives thoughtful, attentive care.

Journey - Receptionist

Journey is a friendly face at Granite Peak Veterinary Hospital, helping ensure every visit is smooth and welcoming. A lifelong animal lover and pug enthusiast, she brings years of customer service and pet-care experience to the front desk.



At home, Journey enjoys life with her two young children and her pugs. Her warmth, patience, and love for animals make every client and pet feel right at home.
